Oregon State Vs. Portland State: Where To Watch

facebooktwitterreddit

The wait is finally over. The Oregon State Beavers embark on their final season with quarterback Sean Mannion under center.

The Beavers kickoff the 2014-15 season with what looks to be an easy win, a home game against the Portland State Vikings.

The Beavers thought they had that with Eastern Washington to kickoff last season, before being stunned 49-46 at Reser. Don’t look for the Beavers to make that same mistake twice.

So, if you aren’t heading down to Corvallis for the game, here is the television and radio information for the game, as well as some local places to check it out with some friends.

Around Town

Corvallis: Check out Big River Restaurant and Bar, located at 101 NW Jackson Ave. With everything from pulled pork nachos, to sliders, to their cast iron skillet cookie, this place has all your eating needs covered and they will show the game on their 6 large HDTV’s.

Salem area: AJ’s Hideaway Bar & Grill has you covered in the Salem area. It looks small from the outside, but inside is spacious, with a full roster of local beers as well as coffee and teas. They are hosting a kickoff party for both the Beavers and the Ducks. AJ’s is at 5048 River Rd. N. in Keizer. Other places to watch the game are Buffalo Wild Wings (3892 Center St. NE Salem) and either of the Salem-area Applebees locations (2625 Liberty St. NE and 5070 Commercial St. SE)

Portland area: With a never-ending array of food options at your disposal in the Portland metro area, I recommend On Deck Sports Bar and Grill. Located in the Pearl District at 910 NW 14th, On Deck has you covered for all OSU games home and away this season. They have several team-themed dishes for fans, including “The Beaver Nation Chicken SandwichBurger”, a grilled chicken breast with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard.
