Oregon State lands Big-man Center Isaiah Manderson

OSU received a new verbal commitment from Georgia-native Center Isaiah Manderson to the 2014 recruiting class. At 6ft 10in and 250 pounds, Manderson is thought to bring the traditional big man skills to the center position. He has respectable footwork and there seems to be an efficiency to his movement. He averaged 12.1 PPG, 9.4 RPG, and an impressive 2 BPG in 20 games played last year during his junior season. He attended the NBPA Top 100 camp a few weeks back and below are some of the highlights and some insight into the Beaver’s latest commitment. With plenty of time in the new state of the art basketball practice facility, Robinson may have found a player that gets the team closer to a return to the NCAA Tournament.
