OSU vs UCLA Statistical Analysis

by Oregon State

Seeing these stats on a UCLA board got me a little concerend about OSU’s upcoming game against the Bruins. Even though Wisconsin has an OK defense, we know their QB O’Brien is nothing close to a Russell Wilson. I was surprised at how poor our offensive numbers are. In fact, they are very much like last year’s. UCLA has a stingy defense, so I am not expecting us to make major leaps in these offensive rankings after this week. Mannion and the running game obviously still have plenty of work to do. OSU will need a balanced attack on Saturday and both Woods and Agnew had better start getting the OSU running game turning out productive performances soon or it could easily spell trouble. Our defense may seem to have more spark, but will they consistently back it up on the road? I have alot more trust in Riley over Langsdorf in not getting pass happy, but this team needs to turn out closer to 30 points a game to win most of our Pac-12 matchups.

Will OSU finish the season ranked in the Top 70 of rush offense and scoring offense?
