A big win for Oregon State that should move them up to amongst the leaders of ‘Others Receiving Votes’ in the AP Poll. The Pac-12 is wide open this year behind USC and Oregon and by the initial looks of this team I would put them right with Washington and probably one step ahead of Utah.
What remains to be seen is how good OSU can be on the road and if they can muster similar effort in key Pac-12 matchups in hostile territory. I feel OSU has the right weapons and as long as they keep their minds focused, should have what it takes to compete well in conference. Suddenly a Holiday Bowl seems like a very real opportunity for this program if they maintain a fighting spirit and keep working hard. A major win for Oregon State and it feels great to start out with a bang!

OS_Beaver is a for life OSU fan that has BCS and NCAA expectations for Oregon State. He believes Football must make a BCS Bowl atleast once every 4 years and Basketball should make the NCAA tourney atleast once every 3 years.
